Q1 2024 Performance of Top Android Virtual Fitness Apps in Europe

In the first quarter of 2024, Europe's Android virtual fitness landscape has shown interesting trends in user engagement and downloads. Leveraging Sensor Tower's data, we've observed the performance of the top 5 virtual fitness applications in the region.

Home Workout - No Equipment by Leap Fitness Group maintained a consistent user base, with weekly active users hovering around 1.1M throughout the quarter. Downloads peaked in mid-February at nearly 200K before tapering off to 71K by the end of March.

Weight Loss for Women: Workout by EZ Health showed a slight decline in downloads from 170K in the first week of January to 88K by the end of March. However, weekly active users increased from 469K to over 527K, indicating a growing and engaged user base.

For Step Counter - Pedometer by Leap Fitness Group, the quarter began with active users at 3.5M, which increased to nearly 4M by March 25. Downloads showed a significant spike mid-quarter, reaching 186K in the last week of February.

Another app named Step Counter - Pedometer, but by Hitchhike Tech, exhibited a steady increase in revenue, peaking at $172 in late January. Downloads reached a high of 161K in late January, while weekly active users saw an upward trend, ending the quarter at over 530K.

Lastly, Mi Fitness (Xiami Wear) from Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co.,Ltd, with no revenue reported, saw downloads fluctuate around the 170K mark, with a notable spike to 188K in early March. The app's weekly active users showed a steady increase, finishing the quarter with a strong 3.2M.
